Could we have any more fun with a Bad Robot Monster costume? I think not! All in all, Jude got to wear his costume three times. By the third time, it was definitely falling apart. We went to a community Halloween Party in Norfolk, and Jude won first place for having the most creative costume! We also enjoyed a party with our friends in Va. Beach. Jude loved having all the attention.
Me: It's almost time for your lunch.
Jude: Can I have Old McDonalds?!?!?!
Me: (laughing) No.
Jude: Ohhh, c'mon. Don't be a doodle!!!
Co-op fun day at Wood's Orchards in Hampton. We had no idea there would be a small-town place like this in the Tidewater area. It was a wonderful surprise!
Jude's friend SB turned 6 and had a Halloween Party! Jude was one of two boys in a sea of princesses and Hannah Montanas. But he still had a great time!
Our "Go-See-It" was more about running around and climbing on things than it was about actually seeing animals ;)
One of our home school outings a couple weeks ago was to a public brass quartet concert put on by Virginia Symphony players. We loved getting to hear them play and ask them questions. Since Jude and I have been reading through "Trumpet of the Swan", we asked one of the horn players to play "Taps" for us, just like Louis the Swan did at Camp Kookooskoos. Jude especially liked the horn that was rigged up from garden hose and a funnel. Maybe we'll make one for ourselves!
